There are 3 search engines on our website. They provide searches of different parts of our Archives.
Webpage Search
In the top right corner of the webpages you can see the search symbol and entry button. This does a General Search of the content of the webpages. It does not search the databases.
Catalogue Search
Select this menu item to go to the Catalogue Database Search screen. You can search using information such as Year, by Speaker click on the box marked Year, Type/Class of Item (ie: document or photo), Author, Description or Storage Item No if you know it. Just above that you can do a General Search of the database. You can use any combination of these search criteria as you need.
Once you see your results listed click on the button Click Here. Photo jpg files open in a viewing window.. PDFs open in a new tab and RTF (Rich Text Format) files download. If you click on the “Green Button” on the left a window opens providing details about the content.
Sermons Database
This allows you to search for and listen to the sermons. To search by Speaker click on the box marked “Search Speaker’ and enter the speaker’s first or last name. You can similarly search by part of the Sermon Title, the Location where it was preached or by the Year. Just above that you can do a General Search.
Once you see your list of sermons you can “Click to Listen” and you can read a “Transcript” of the sermon. If you click on the “Green Button” a window opens providing details about the sermon file and you can select to read a Biography of the speaker.
