 Beginnings

       The Archives East started as the Missionary Church Historical Trust.  The MCHT was formed in 2005 by a Trust Deed Declaration. The Trust replaced the former Canada East Missionary Church Historical Society (1984-2005).

               J. Allan Shantz, Rev
       The collection is housed in Elmira, Ontario.
       The MCHT is the officially recognized keeper of the Archives of the EMCC for Ontario and eastern Canada.
