Online resources:
1. One of the best is:
GAMEO (Global Anabaptist Mennonite Encyclopedia Online): – search for early congregations and preachers written by such people as Jasper Abraham Huffman, Everek Storms, Clare Fuller, Samuel J Steiner, and Marlene Epp.
2. Western Canadian EMCC archives content can be found via Access to Memory (AtoM), a publicly accessible archives website. Eastern Canadian EMCC historical holdings will be available through AtoM shortly. Promise!
3. The EMCC website has current videos and stories of EMCC people and churches, as well as obituary pages going back several years. An animated video summarizing EMCC history is on the website. On the Home page, look for “Our Back-story.” Click on “Following Jesus Together: Our Story.” (6:05) This is also available via YouTube directly.
4. Our sister church in the US, the Missionary Church, Inc, has a major archives and historical collection housed at the Bowen Library, Bethel University, Mishawaka, IN. Access images and documents through the Missionary Church website. They have a Missionary Church Historical Society (MCHS), not to be confused with the MCHT! The MCHS publishes Reflections, a journal of historical research on the Missionary Church.
